I love using AdoptMeApp because it can really help showcase the personalities of the animals, how they adapt and change over time (especially the ones who are in care for a longer time). I also like it because posting pictures and videos is something extra I can do to help the animals get adopted, even when I don’t have extra time to do more volunteer hours at the shelter (it’s easy to do in my free time at home).

AdoptMeApp is a fantastic application. Previously all animals had only one photo in their profiles (and most of the time this photo was not the best). AdoptMeApp brings desperately needed change.
Now people can see animals as pets. Their shelter diaries are fantastic and full of cute photos and videos that show their true personality. And not only that — all photos and videos also go directly to Twitter!
As a volunteer I have heard many times from people that they came to the shelter only because they saw pictures and videos of a particular animal. Even if the animal was not suitable for them, they often adopted another animal they found in the shelter.
I am convinced that the AdoptMeApp has saved the lives of many animals.

I absolutely love the AdoptMeApp! I could go on and on about it. Although I wrote something brief, I want you to know it’s really a great App for our foster care providers to be able to use as well as helping them to be involved in the adoption process in addition to providing a temporary (foster) home for our many pets.
I have found AdoptMeApp to be a valuable marketing tool to further promote both cat and dog adoptions! AdoptMeApp is easy to use and uploads instantly for immediate viewing by potential adopters and sharing further through social media.

I love the AdoptMeApp! Shelter animals need all the help they can get in standing out and finding the right home. The AdoptMeApp is a very effective in giving an individualized picture of an animal, and telling a little something about them. ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’, and definitely leads to adoptions! I have found it’s been a great tool during adoption counseling to look at an animal’s diary, and see them in different, usually adorable situations. People coming to the shelter often ask for a specific animal by name because they have seen their PetHarbor shelter page with the AdoptMeApp diary. AdoptMeApp is very easy to use, and has had a huge impact! I highly recommend!”

The AdoptMeApp helps showcase the adorable, candid moments of pets looking for homes with the wider public. Shelter life can be tough for any pet, so it’s great to be able to share images and videos directly onto their online profile in a matter of seconds so the public can get more of an insight into their personalities.
Being able to share photos of the pets offsite and away from the adoption pens is especially fantastic; whether it’s behind the scenes at a special photoshoot for Chilli who had a rough start to life, puppies meeting celebrity sports stars before they appear on live TV, or even foster pets showing off their office skills while in our care.

I volunteer at our county animal services and have been using the AdoptMeApp for a few months now to help promote the wonderful critters at our shelter. Often the profile photo alone doesn’t show off the cuteness of the animals so having several extra photos can really help to show off their personality; a picture can speak a thousand words. Having the extra photos on PetHarbor and Twitter can really show them off online which definitely brings potential adopters in to meet the animals!
AdoptMeApp couldn’t be easier to use. Take a photo, go to AdoptMeApp, select the photo and say a few words. It’s simple and direct with minimal effort.
During our kitten season, we often have littermates share kennel spaces so AdoptMeApp allows us to share/promote photos/videos of the kittens together. Here is an example of brother and sister Sully & Sasha.
The AdoptMeApp staff is friendly, efficient and helpful on the rare occasion that I’ve had to contact them. I highly recommend AdoptMeApp as an easy, very successful way to promote the cats and dogs at your shelter.
