I have been using the AdoptMeApp to post photos for a few years now (ed. note — over 1400 posts!). I have noticed the strong impact it has on speeding up our adoptions. I have seen adopters at our shelter come in with these photos on their phones, looking for those dogs. Everyone at our shelter knows the dynamic impact photos have showing the dogs with our staff and volunteers. Action photos of the dogs while off campus seems to be the favorite photos of our visitors.
The AdoptMeApp photos allows us to show people what the dog looks like when with people they are already comfortable with. Many times people see the dogs for the first time in the kennels and the impressions are not always the best. But the AdoptMeApp photos show the dogs with caregivers they trust. These pictures shows potential adopters what the possibilities are after the dogs are comfortable in their new homes.
I have seen many examples of long-term dogs at our shelters that were absolutely adopted as a direct result of the action photos. I have seen many examples of dogs that were adopted the next day after our photos were posted. I am totally convinced of the power of AdoptMeApp photos on helping our dogs finding great-fitting homes.
The ability to add photo captions is also critical. As volunteers, we limit ourselves to only mentioning what we observe while spending time with the animals. We never want to contradict the basic info listed on the animals’ information sheets. But it is great to add comments about nice walking and calm behavior in public.
I have enjoyed using the AdoptMeApp over the years. Thank you for increasing the description capacity recently, and also decreasing the amount of characters necessary to use emojis. This is a great program!

I love the AdoptMeApp. I take pictures of the cats that have been in the shelter a long time, and adding pictures to the profile sheet, I feel, helps them get adopted. The app is so simple, I use it while I am at the shelter, whenever I take pictures. One of my favorite kitties was Estrella; the pictures I posted through the AdoptMeApp helped her get adopted.I also use AdoptMeApp to post pictures of my foster kittens when they become available. Sometimes our shelter uses “original” intake pictures of when the kitten first arrived at our shelter. The pictures I add are more current. I am sure some of these pictures helped in getting them adopted. When ever there has been an issue, it is always addressed (by AdoptMeApp Support) immediately. Even when I had not scrolled far enough, they answered immediately on how I was to find the kitten section.Thank you for providing this app to help our animals get adopted

I love AdoptMeApp and use it pretty much daily. I believe it is because of the posted pictures and videos via this tool most dogs I have marketed get adopted very fast. AdoptMeApp is easy and fast to use. You can also see how many views videos uploaded to the app (via YouTube) got, which is very helpful and encouraging. I truly feel that AdoptMeApp lets the world hear about shelter pets and lets people get to know these pets as well as we know them.I highly recommend it!

I like using the AdoptMeApp for animals that often hide and are shy at the shelter. I can post a nice photo and description of them so people get a sense of how lovely they are and then maybe they will take a little more time to try to meet the animal at the shelter. My favorite post is of Jordan and Nani. These 2 kitties are very shy and hid all the time but I managed to get them to come out and show some curiosity when I played with a toy with them and then they struck a very photogenic pose.

Using the AdoptMeApp is SUCH an important tool for my fellow volunteers and me to upload pictures of our shelter animals. Several of us take our dogs out on field trips into the real world, and the app allows us to show the animals’ experiences and explain a bit how they interact with different people in different situations. I have had several people come into the shelter to see a specific animal because of the pictures I have uploaded, and then adopt. This app truly helps save lives!

I love how AdoptMeApp lets me quickly and easily post photos and videos to Twitter and to each animal’s Humane Society webpage. The average video gets 15 to 20 views from potential adopters, and the photos get even more — which means I’m not just spending time with the animals, I’m also boosting their odds of finding a forever home!

Love this App! Super easy to use, it allows me, especially for harder to adopt animals, the ability to display unique characteristics to potential adopters. The “diary” format is playful. Through pictures and posted comments, especially in the creature’s own words, observers can begin to “walk in their paws”.
